Get Involved
After registering and attending a migra watch training session, you'll have the opportunity to learn how to engage with Puno and participate in our committees' organizational efforts. You will need to be Migra Watch trained to participate in our Rapid Response.
MIGRAWATCH
Join PUÑO's (Pilsen Unidos por Nuestro Orgullo) Migra Watch team to learn how to identify federal agents, document ICE activity, and support immigrants in our communities.
RAPID REPSONSE
To Submit a Request to join the Pilsen Rapid Response Team (PUÑO), please submit the form and a member of our onboarding team will reach out to you.
CANVASSING
Each shift begins with a 15-minute introduction and training session, followed by 1 to 1.5 hours of canvassing. Newcomers to canvassing are encouraged to join, and you will be paired with others to ensure no one is working alone.

Sign up for a Migra Watch training at bit.ly/migrawatchtraining! You will learn how to document ICE activity to provide legal evidence in the case of a detainment and get connected to the Rapid Response Migra Watch network. The training is great to have in case you witness ICE activity in your daily life. We also encourage you to sign up for Migra Watch shifts if possible to help track ICE operations and respond to sightings as they occur.
If you haven’t done Migra Watch training or are unable to sign up for Migra Watch shifts, we always need volunteers to help with other aspects of Pilsen Rapid Response. You can fill out the form here bit.ly/pilsenmigrawatch and one of our onboarding committee members will reach out to you and help find a place where your unique talents can make a difference!
